The DELE C2 certifies sufficient linguistic competence to communicate effectively in any situation, proving ability to spontaneously adapt to any context, with a high degree of precision. The language users show subtle control of nuances which allow for fluent and natural expression in all interactions.
The DELE C2 examination consists of three tests:
- Test 1: Use of language, reading and listening comprehension (105 minutes, 6 tasks).
- Test 2: Integrated skills: Listening and reading comprehension, and written expression and interaction (150 minutes, 3 tasks).
- Test 3: Integrated skills: Reading comprehension and oral expression and interaction (20 minutes) (and 30 minutes to prepare).
A “passing” grade is required for each test taken during the same examination session.
The maximum possible score on the examination is 100 points, and it is necessary to get 60% on each test; a minimum score of 20 is necessary on each of the three tests.
The final grade is either PASS or FAIL.
IMPORTANT: In the written expression test, the candidate must strictly follow instructions about the number of words and the text format.
