Title: Information about new models DELE B1 and B2.
Exams to practice in interactive or printable format.
Remember that registration will remain open for the August 2013 Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) (Spanish as a foreign language certificate) until Friday July 26th. The levels being offered during this DELE examining session will be level C1 and for the first time the new DELE exam format for levels B2 and B1.

LEVEL B1 |
The DELE B1 level diploma certifies linguistic competency necessary to: understand the main points of texts written in clear, standard Spanish on well-known topics; describe experiences, events, hopes and aspirations; explain plans; and briefly defend opinions.

Group 1 • Reading comprehension (70 min) • Listening comprehension (40 min) Group 2 • Written interaction and expression (60 min) • Oral interaction and expression (15 min + 15 min de preparación) |

LEVEL B2 |
The DELE B2 level diploma certifies linguistic competency necessary to: understand the main points of complex texts on concrete or abstract topics, even texts that are technical in nature; and produce clear and detailed texts on a broad range of topics.

These new test format modifications on the DELE exam finalize the process of adapting the exam to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages created by the Council of Europe, which establishes six levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2.
